I’m not the most experimental listener, but I have a somewhat split taste in music, but what unites my favourite artists on last.fm is that their music is very vocal driven. I’ve been using last.fm for a long time, so the records are quite accurate. So, now let’s hit one of my new discoveries, which I was introduced to by my girlfriend and Trond. Dubstep is the word. I’ve picked some of my favourite Dubstep songs for now and I recommend you look into them, if you’re interested in music in general or just need something driving for your morning playlist

This is where I want to attach a quote from Skrillex facebook page, I was told about when I was asked by Trond what I like the most about Skrillex. I said I just liked the guy and he seemed like a really nice person, so he showed me the quote, it fitted perfectly.

Im not “cool”. I’m a normal person who decided to make music. I never sought out to be anything. I just made songs on my laptop. BUT I appreciate every bit of support you all give me more than you know. Like I said. At this point, my music means more than what it “means to me” It means what it “means to us”.

What is it?

wearehunted.com is a little like an online char radio, that allows simple user interaction. The DISCOVERY feature plays a couple of songs for you, which you can like, dislike or skip. From these results a playlist is generated for you. While listening to music, you can still browse songs and artists on the site, without discontinuing your current playlist. The player is inconspicuously positioned at the top of the browser window, with common controls like back, forward, pause and stop. Also a integration to share the songs through twitter, facebook and myspace is available and a link to buy the specific song.

If you chose to stay on a page. It will highlight the song you currently are listening to, including a picture of the artist for a more visual impression.

What I found

I’ve found a couple of cool songs and so far even a band. For example I found acoustic versions of Bulletproof and Pokerface. Furthermore I’ve discovered Paramore. A good example for young pop punk with a female vocalist, that reminded me a little of Garbage.

Clementine right now is a ported Amarok 1.4 (which right now is at version 2.4) and it happened to become my audio player of choice a couple of days ago. Before that I’ve been using Songbird on Mac OS X but as I consider it slow I was looking for an alternative, because iTunes certainly is NOT an option for me. iTunes does not support my favourite formats and the way Clementine and Amarok handle the music library and playlists is much more what I like. The library at the side and the main window is the playlist.$

Clementine is right now at 0.6 and there is also a Windows binary available for download. I’m mentioning it for Mac OS because there’s just not that much variety on this platform as on Windows or Linux.

• support for many audio formats like MP3, Ogg Vorbis, Ogg Speex, FLAC or AAC

Nackt II lässt weder musikalische Qualität, noch die gewohnt vielfältige und intime Live-Atmossphäre vermissen. Für 16.99€ bekommt man ein Konzert, dass eine Altersgruppe von gefühlt neun bis 90 Jahren bedient und durch den Verzicht auf elektronische Instrumente einen ruhigeren und erzählerischen Ton anschlägt. Bonusmaterial gibt es auch, in dem sich die Künstler, ihre Funktion innerhalb der Band und ihre Instrumente für die Akustiktour vorstellen. Auch die zur Unterstützung hinzu gezogenen Musiker Herr b.deutung und Nora Thiele präsentieren sich dort.
