Since I always was focussed on design I decided that my lousy skills needed some work on them. I started nosing around about the topic and found things I could use. The site freetechbooks.com offers a lot of free documents containing computer science and programming. The ebook I am reading right now is written as an introduction to programming with python. It’s called think like a computer scientist. After only 3 chapters I can tell it really helps understanding essentials. Moni and me are doing the php-q tutorial together and having some fun with that too. While writing this entry I found another easy and fun to learn language, it’s called ruby and you can try it online here. Python and Ruby are, as far as I could experience, following the KISS principe (keep it simple stupid).

I really enjoyed my last weekend, though I am a bit exhausted now. I did not sleep too much

I want to thank Nadine for coming up here and spending time with me and I want to thank her mother for paying her ticket. Maybe I can see her in my autumn holidays, that woud be great. If she enjoyed the time half as much as I did, she loved it, but I think the trip (8-9 hours by train was getting on her nerves ) She will soon log on again and I will know if she got home without complications.

This year seems to become hell caused by a lot of work. Even our teachers tell us:”Poor you, we have to get trough so much so quick”. We’re just like: WTF O.o

Well, no real reason to worry, we’ll too be going to canada for four weeks, I’m a bit exited about that. It is a huge chance to improve my english and french abilities.

The “Puttefest” last thursday at our school was really great. I was DJ most of the time and I heard some people say that it was quite okay. I got a bit drunk later that evening and I got some wounds I can’t explain (I blame violent girls and jackass in some hedges what probably is right as far as I know)

I will have to concentrate more on school, sleep more and finish reading the book about concentrationtechniques and apply some of them to my work.
